Professional Services Project Manager

The Skybox Project Manager represents a key facet of our Professional Services Engagement Model. Serving as the point of contact during solution delivery, the Project Manager ensures that all project activities are completed on time, and to the satisfaction of our customers.Project managers in our organization need to have a flexible, customer-focused mindset, and understand how to navigate the needs of project stakeholders on all sides of the project equation. Strong interpersonal skills are critical, as our customers are driven, top-tier professionals with high expectations of our product and delivery.This position works remotely; successful candidates will need to have quality internet access in their home office, and be able to host web meetings with international attendees as required.


The Skybox Project Manager is responsible for managing customer expectations, scope, status, and delivery of Skybox Security Professional Services software deployments. Key responsibilities include:

Key Activities:

  • Plan, create and maintain project schedules utilizing industry best practices and the Skybox engagement methodology
  • Schedule and facilitate sessions for planning, resourcing, and executing project work between Customer and internal Skybox resources
  • Work closely with the Customer to provide insight on the schedule status and health of their engagement
  • Provide status to internal Skybox stakeholders, including senior leadership, Sales, and our technical teams
  • Work in coordination with the Project Management Office to update internal systems with project health information and progress metrics. 


  • Strong customer-facing skills, to include project leadership, managing customers, scope, and business critical timelines, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management Professional (ACP or PMP) certification, or similar recognized international project management certification
  • 5+ years of project management experience, working in both agile and waterfall environments
  • Experience with tracking project work effort on complex projects ($5MM+ / 12+ months effort)
  • Experience working with large financial customers (banking, insurance)
  • Experience working with international customers across a variety of cultures/working environments
  • Experience working in a PMO environment
  • Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Operational experience with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related field
  • Willingness to travel as the need arises (up to 30%, including international travel)
  • Experience using the Clarizen project management platform is preferred
  • Note that this position is remote. You will need a stable internet connection and the ability to conduct webex sessions from your location
