Renewals Manager

Job Description

The Renewals Manager will be responsible for assisting the Skybox Security team in their efforts of working with their customers. Focus on renewing Skybox customers and identify both up-sell and cross-sell opportunities among customers.  The Renewals Manager will be integral part of Skybox’s Enterprise Sales team and will work closely with Regional Sales Directors to ensure timely renewals and long-term success of customers.


  • Work with the Director of Global Renewals and Regional Sales Directors to develop and refine renewal process that proactively engages customer base minimizing churn
  • Identify customers who have a high potential of churn and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Engage with Marketing on implementing campaigns to educate customers and increase adoption of Skybox
  • Responsible for all assigned contract renewals in North America.
  • Expect renewal rate of 90%+ of customers each quarter
  • Work with Regional Sales Directors and Channel Partners to sell value of a multi-year contract versus an annual contract
  • Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for small, medium and large contract renewals that maximize contract value while protecting customer trust
  • Own, drive and manage renewals process in collaboration with regional account team
  • Lead discussions around forecasting and renewal pipeline status with account team (i.e. maintain renewal schedule and forecast up to 120 days out)

Qualifications/Experience/Required Skills

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in sales, renewal sales or account management
  • Experience with renewal management practice and contracts
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to track, develop and manage renewal pipeline and forecast
  • Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills
  • Must have proven follow-up skills
  • Experience with is a must
