Job Description

The Professional Service team delivers post-sales services to Skybox customers and partners, to enable positive business outcomes from our technology and service solutions. Working for the Professional Services team, the PSE is responsible for delivering our product solutions, provide security guidance, other relevant services mentoring other PSE’s within the Skybox organization. This position will focus on establishing, growing, and strengthening post-sales implementations and providing technical consulting to business units requiring our security solutions.

You will :

  • Deploy/configure Skybox suite in our customers environment onsite or remotely
  • Work with customer resource through the product deployment providing guidance and validation of work completed
  • Work with Skybox support and R&D as warranted during deployments
  • Work with Skybox Customer, Partners and on occasion Sales to deliver to end-user solutions and identify future end-user projects which may require PS engineering solutions
  • Lead in the discovery, definition, and implementation of network security solutions
  • Provide technical point of contact for professional services throughout an engagement lifecycle
  • Identify existing and prospective solutions, as well as review use-cases, security policies and procedures for our customers
  • Work closely with the PMO to ensure business systems and applications are deployed on time
  • Provide mentorship throughout Skybox on technical subjects in your technical domain, including presenting on topics as needed
  • Travel up to 20%. Some international travel may be required 1-2 weeks per year.

 You will need 7+ years of experience in the following :

  • Strong Networking skills – Layer 3 networking experience with configuration, tuning (not device stacking and racking)
  • IPv4
  • IPv6
  • Firewalls – Check Point, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA (three or more)
  • Linux skills (Strong) – they need to be strong in Red Hat, CentOS (Linux platform skills)
  • Experienced with Linux CLI and commands
  • Vulnerability Management –
  • Experience with network vulnerability scanner (Qualys, Nessus, Tenable etc)
  • Performed vulnerability assessments
  • Ability to understand and articulate findings
  • Translate findings to reasonable steps to mitigate
  • Ticketing System experience (Service Now, Cherwell etc)
  • Understanding of ticket flow/architecture
  • Understand of Integration points with 3rd party systems
  • Strong team skills
  • Effective communicator who can work through tough situations
  • Consulting / customer facing experience
  • Internal support Engineering experience is acceptable (especially from large, enterprise environments)
