Job Description

The Technology Alliance Program Director will build, develop and drive the Skybox Technology Alliances Program (TAP). The candidate will enable and execute key processes to ensure optimal alignment between Skybox and technology partners, including by providing market visibility, coordinated roadmap plans, software version alignment and tools that can help drive better synergy and joint offerings between Skybox and the TAP community.

This role will report to VP Business Development and work cross functionally with product management, R&D, marketing and sales resources to drive adoption and execution of the TAP program. This role will also work closely to coordinate company executive involvement with TAP partners as appropriate.


  • Methodically create the processes and programs that will enable Skybox to get optimal exposure among the TAP partner community and their market ecosystem
  • Focus on growing the impact of TAP top-tier partners and growing the footprint of TAP-driven opportunities among the Skybox revenue streams and pipeline
  • Manage, develop and maintain a set of key partner contacts, so operationally we have a single point of contact for the TAP ecosystem
  • Develop and manage the operational cadence for the TAP
  • Lead the process development and implementation as well as oversee the execution efforts to build out the smaller technology partners
  • Enable Skybox customers and channel partners to benefit from a broader technology ecosystem
  • Work cross-functionally to drive the enablement program and content, leveraging existing and new Skybox processes and resources to effectively create an impact from the TAP community on the Skybox business
  • Coordinate and assist with product roadmap integration discussions between the partners and Skybox product development teams
  • Drive marketing to plan the programs to obtain the maximum ROI from any partner marketing investment
  • Recruit and grow the program with presentations to prospective TAP partners to ensure they are excited about and capable of executing a successful TAP onboarding, technical integration and revenue growth cycle with Skybox
  • Build, develop, grow and drive the Skybox TAP
  • Sign, onboard and enable partners into the TAP
  • Support and enable TAP-driven revenue pipeline creation


  • 5+ years’ work experience, with specific experience managing global OEMs, business development or other deal-oriented role
  • Software industry domain expertise and the ability to understand complex technology problems
  • Strong previous background in partner alliance management, designing and driving partner alliance programs and processes
  • Strategic thinker, who is also execution-oriented; ideally has experience driving cross-functional programs or processes
  • Effective at building relationships (internally and with partners), collaborating and influencing others; experience working with senior executives/partners in cross-company projects
  • Strong communicator able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing; comfortable in business and technical discussions
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative and high-growth environment.
  • Strong team player who is also an independent thinker
  • Bachelor degree is mandatory; MBA is a plus
  • This role requires extensive travel
