It is designed to provide Skybox users with peace of mind regarding the security, privacy, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data.

Skybox implements a top-down approach to verifying security controls, including maintaining strict policies and procedures. We continuously monitor through multi-tiered security audits that include security checks, security reviews, application and infrastructure security vulnerability assessment scans, third-party patching, and scans of network vulnerabilities.

Skybox is responsible for the protection of the personal information entrusted to us and we inform customers when we collect their personal information and honor their preferences for contacting them. We also implement technical, organizational, and physical security measures to ensure the appropriate level of security of the personal information we process.

Customer Notification: Java library log4j2

Skybox is monitoring the recently published zero-day vulnerability in the Java library log4j2 (CVE-2021-44228). Skybox versions 11.5.x and 11.6.x use vulnerable versions of this library in the server, connector, and manager distributions. Remediation steps were released on 12 December 2021. Instructions are available in the adjacent customer notification. Software versions that contain the mitigation will be published on 14 December, and future versions will contain fixes to log4j libraries. We will continue to publish more information to help customers identify and address potential exposure to this vulnerability.
